ARCHERIF

Towards anti-racism certification for higher education and research institutions in France.

Higher education and research institutions (HERIs) have a major role to play in combatting extremist and supremacist ideologies if they are to fulfil their role in preparing the next generation of leaders to work in a more racially and ethnically just world.

The ARCHERIF project (Towards Anti-Racism Certification for Higher Education and Research Institutions in France) funded by the A*MIDEX foundation of Aix-Marseille University (AMU) aims to make a decisive contribution to study and then tackle racism more effectively in French higher education and research institutions by conducting an international study to identify best practices that will inform the design of innovative educational resources to prevent the most insidious forms, structural and systemic forms of racism in Higher Education and Research Institutions (HERIs) and promote equal opportunities not only for students but also for administrative and teaching staff from ethnic minorities.
