Invited Seminar on “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI): the tree that hides the forest of racism in Higher Education and Research Institutions” at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, 24th October 2024

ARCHERIF’s PI (Professor Ibekwe Fidelia) delivered a seminar entitled “Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI): the tree that hides the forest of racism in Higher Education and Research Institutions” on the 24th October as a guest speaker invited by the GEDI (Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) group at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde in Glasgow as part of the University of Strathclyde events for Black History Month. The talk was attended by around 25 people. Prof Ibekwe also took part in research meetings with the GEDI group of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK where discussions of future collaborations on the topic of racism and EDI were held.
